Fundraising Open Studios Art Hub and its sustainability

Anotácia:

Diplomová práce se zaměřuje na grantový a negrantový fundraising spolku Open Studios Art Hub (dále také OSAH) a jeho dlouhodobou udržitelnost. Teoretická část se věnuje obecnému vymezení základních fundraisingových metod v kulturním odvětví využívaných na území České republiky, a také příkladům financování výtvarné kultury v zahraničí. Dále se věnuje problematice financování projektu OSAH, analýze vnitřního a vnějšího prostředí a historii financování. V závěru práce pojednává o metodách projektem využívaných pro účely fundraisingu, budoucnosti financování a dlouhodobé udržitelnosti. Cílem práce je analyzovat možnosti financování výtvarné kultury v českém prostředí, analyzovat fungování projektu OSAH a následně informace využít k vytvoření a aplikaci finanční strategie v dalších letech.

Abstract:

The thesis focuses on grant and non-grant fundraising of the association Open Studios Art Hub (shortly OSAH) and its long-term sustainability. The theoretical part is devoted to the general definition of the basic fundraising methods in the cultural sec-tor, used in the territory of the Czech Republic, as well as examples of financing art culture abroad. It also deals with the financing of the OSAH project, the analysis of the internal and external environment and the history of financing. At the end of the thesis, the methods used by the project for fundraising purposes, the future of financing and long-term sustainability are discussed too. The aim of the thesis is to analyse the possibilities of financing art culture in the Czech environment, to analyse the func-tioning of the OSAH project and then to use the information to create and apply a fi-nancial strategy in the following years.
