Gender Essays: Translation, Terminology and Style
Abstract:
Tato práce se zabývá překladem genderových esejí. Práce přestavuje tři překladové strategie vhodné pro překlad genderových esejí, které mají zajistit funkci cílového textu: Skopos teorie, domestikace a transkulturace. Navržené překladové strategie byly aplikovány na skutečný překlad, aby se zjistilo, jak fungují v praxi.
Abstract:
The thesis focuses on the translation of gender essays.Three translation strategies are suggested which should help to translate gender essays from one language into another and secure the target text function: Skopos theory, domestication and transculturation.The strategies were applied on a real translation to see how they work in practice.
