Views of Parents on Thanatology Education in Early Years of Primary School

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce si klade za cíl zjistit názory rodičů dětí mladšího školního věku na edukaci dětí v thanatologii. Dále se zabývá schopností rodičů s dětmi hovořit o smrti a umírání a jejich názory na důležitost s dětmi o uvedených tématech hovořit. Zjišťuje, zda by rodiče chtěli, aby o problematice smrti a umírání byly děti informovány v rámci školy. Teoretická část práce se věnuje thanatologii a thanatologii pro děti, definuje základní pojmy a stručnou historii oboru. Druhá kapitola popisuje vývoj, osobnost a socializaci dětí mladšího školního věku. Ve třetí kapitole se zabýváme rodinou a edukací. Praktická část uvádí kvantitativní výzkum, který byl realizován formou dotazníků pro rodiče dětí 1. - 5. tříd základních škol.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis aims to find out what is the opinion of parents of children in the early years of primary school on education in thanatology. It also deals with the ability of parents to talk with children about death and dying and how important they think it is to talk with children about these topics. It determines whether the parents would like their children to be informed about death and dying within the school. Theoretical part deals with thanatology and thanatology for children, defines the basic con-cepts and a brief history of the field. Second chapter describes the development, personali-ty and socialization of children in the early primary school age. The third chapter deals with the family and education. Practical part presents a quantitative research, which was conducted through questioners for parents of first to fifth grade primary school children.
