Biochemické markery pomáhají při posuzování rizika vzniku srdečního onemocnění, důležité jsou při jeho diagnostice a nemalou měrou mohou přispět k odhadu prognózy a k rizikové stratifikaci pacientů. Cardiac markers, in general, are used to assess the risk of heart diseases. They are important in the diagnosis and they can greatly improve the prognosis and risk stratification of patients.
