Life on the wheelchair

Abstract:

V této práci se věnuji lidem upoutaným na invalidní vozík. Zaměřuji se na celkovou problematiku při tomto typu postižení a zabývám se možnými způsoby jak ji pozitivně ovlivnit. Bakalářská práce je rozdělena na část teoretickou a hlavní. Teoretická obsahuje kapitoly obecnou a speciální. V obecné části jsem stručně popsala anatomii páteře a míchy, příčiny poškození míchy a diagnostiku. Ve speciální části popisuji život vozíčkářů v oblasti psychické, fyzické a sociální. Zabývám se komplikacemi, které ovlivňují život na vozíku. Zaměřuji se na roli ergoterapie, která je provázena od počátku postižení až po integraci handicapovaného. Dále se zabývám a popisuji jak vhodně ovlivnit mobilitu na vozíku. Hlavní část obsahuje kasuistiku mnou vybrané klientky, vstupní vyšetření, krátkodobý ergoterapeutický plán, výstupní vyšetření, dlouhodobý ergoterapeutický plán a prognózu klientky.

Abstract:

In my bachelor theses, I describe disabled persons who live in the wheelchair. My work is focused on these problems and I try to find some solution how to solve it in a positive way. The bachelor theses is divided by theoretical and main part. The theoretical includes general and special sections. In the general section, I describe backbone and spinal cord from the anatomical aspect, the causes of spinal cord´s injury and diagnostics. In the special section I deal with life of disabled persons from their psychological, physical and social aspect. I deal with the complications that affect life in a wheelchair. I am focusing on the role of ergotherapy which is accompanied from the beginning to the integration of disability affected. I also describe the manner how to improve the mobility on the wheelchair. The main part contains the casuistry of a client who I chose on my own, an entrance investigation, a short-term plan of the ergotherapy, a final investigation, a long-term plan of the ergotherapy and a patient´s prognosis.
