Strategic analysis of the selected company Santal s.r.o.

Abstract:

Cílem této bakalářské práce je stanovení strategických doporučení pro podnik Santal s.r.o. Tato doporučení budou stanovena prostřednictvím vypracované strategické analýzy. Bakalářská práce je rozdělena na dvě části. V teoretické části je představena strategická analýza, její význam pro fungování podniku a deskripce jednotlivých metod, které jsou následně použity v části praktické. V praktické části jsou identifikovány příležitosti, hrozby, silné a slabé stránky za pomoci analýzy makrookolí, mikrookolí a vnitřních zdrojů. Analýza makrookolí vychází z PESTLE analýzy. V rámci analýzy mikrookolí dochází k deskripci odvětví, popisu konkurenčního prostředí a identifikaci nejvýznamnějších konkurentů, kteří jsou vybráni na základě osobních rozhovorů se zákazníky. Analýza vnitřního potenciálu podniku se skládá z identifikace zdrojů, VRIO analýzy, analýzy procesů a finanční analýzy. Finální syntéza je zpracována SWOT analýzou, která slouží jako podklad pro formulaci strategických doporučení.

Abstract:

The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to establish strategic recommendations for the company Santal s.r.o. These recommendations will be determined through a strategic analysis. The bachelor thesis is divided into two parts. Strategic analysis, its importance for the operation of the company and descriptions of individual methods is presented in theoretical part. Each method is subsequently used in the practical part. In the practical part, opportunities, threats, strengths and weaknesses are identified by using the analysis of the macroenvironment, microenvironment and analysis of internal resources. The analysis of the macroenvironment is based on the PESTLE analysis. As part of the microenvironment analysis, there is a description of the industry, a description of the competitive environment and the most important competitors, who are selected on the basis of personal interviews with customers. The analysis of the internal potential of the enterprise consists of the identification of resources, VRIO, Value Chain analysis and financial analysis. The final synthesis is processed by a SWOT analysis, which serves as a basis for the formulation of strategic recommendations.
