Conflict management methods and their use in practice

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na konflikty mezi matkou a dcerou v období adolescence. V teoretické části práce jsou popsány druhy konfliktů, řízení konfliktu, strategie zvládání konfliktu a dospívání z hlediska zvládání konfliktu. Na základě nestrukturovaných rozhovorů v praktické části byly analyzovány metody zvládání konfliktu a navrženy vhodnější metody pro vyřešení vzniklých sporů. Hlavní příčiny konfliktů byly identifikovány jako nedorozumění, rozdílné názory a odlišná očekávání mezi matkou a dcerou. Práce doporučuje zlepšení komunikace s využitím komunikačních dovedností k deeskalaci konfliktu a identifikuje dceřino rizikové chování v souladu s literaturou zabývající se adolescencí. Výsledky práce přispívají k lepšímu porozumění problematiky a nabízí návrhy pro zlepšení vztahu mezi matkou a dcerou.

Abstract:

This bachelor's thesis focuses on conflicts between mother and daughter during adolescence. The theoretical part of the thesis describes the types of conflicts, conflict management, conflict management strategies and growing up from the point of view of conflict management. On the basis of unstructured interviews in the practical part, conflict management methods were analyzed and more suitable methods for resolving disputes were proposed. The main causes of conflicts were identified as misunderstandings, different opinions and different expectations between mother and daughter. The thesis recommends improving communication using communication skills to de-escalate the conflict and identifies the daughter's risky behavior in accordance with the literature dealing with adolescence. The results of the work contribute to a better understanding of the issue and offer suggestions for improving the relationship between mother and daughter.
