The specifics of juvenile crime

Abstract:

Cílem práce je zaměřit se na specifické rysy trestné činnosti mladistvých, vysvětlit, jaké jsou její příčiny, jaké mají mladiství motivy k páchání trestné činnosti i jaké jsou možnosti její prevence a následně na základě vlastního výzkumu, který je uskutečněn formou kazuistik, detailně zmapovat charakter a příčiny trestné činnosti mladistvých pachatelů trestných činů na vybraných třech případech. V tomto kontextu je celá práce rozdělená do celkem tří hlavních kapitol. První z nich slouží jako uvedení do dané problematiky a zabývá se kriminalitou a delikvencí jakožto sociálně patologickými jevy z obecného hlediska. Druhá a zároveň i nejrozsáhlejší kapitola je už věnována konkrétně trestní činnosti mladistvých. Především jsou vysvětleny specifické rysy tohoto fenoménu, ale taktéž motivace mladistvých k páchání trestné činnosti, její příčiny i možnosti prevence. V závěru druhé kapitoly jsou uvedeny i statistiky trestných činů mladistvých v České republice. Poslední třetí kapitola představuje praktickou část této práce jejím cílem je na základě vlastního výzkumu detailně zmapovat charakter a příčiny trestné činnosti mladistvých pachatelů trestných činů. Stanoveny jsou taktéž tři výzkumné otázky, na které se v rámci výzkumu budou hledat odpovědi.

Abstract:

The aim of the thesis is to focus on the specific features of juvenile crime, to explain what are its causes, what are the motives of juveniles for committing crime and what are the possibilities of its prevention and then, on the basis of our own research, which is carried out in the form of case studies, to map in detail the nature and causes of juvenile offenders' crime on selected three cases. In this context, the whole thesis is divided into three main chapters. The first of these serves as an introduction to the subject and deals with crime and delinquency as socially pathological phenomena from a general perspective. The second and the most extensive chapter is devoted specifically to juvenile delinquency. First of all, the specific features of this phenomenon are explained, but also the motivation of juveniles to commit crime, its causes and possibilities of prevention. At the end of the second chapter, statistics on juvenile crime in the Czech Republic are presented. The third and final chapter is the practical part of this thesis, which aims to map in detail the nature and causes of juvenile delinquency on the basis of its own research. It also sets out three research questions to which the research will seek answers.
