Culture Organization Home for the Elderly and its impact on service quality

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá organizační kulturou domova pro seniory vzhledem ke kvalitě péče. V teoretické části jsou popsány prvky organizační kultury, tj. hodnoty, normy, postoje, praktiky, symboly, jazyk, komunikace, historky, zvyky, ceremoniály, artefakty, vztahy, etika, chování, týmová spolupráce, kontrolování, hodnocení a vzdělávání zaměstnanců, způsoby a ukazatele měření kvality péče, dlouhodobá péče zaměřená na seniory, praktické kompetence zaměstnanců, význam kvality péče, popis zkoumané organizace. Cílem výzkumné práce je identifikovat vztah charakteristik kultury organizace ke kvalitě poskytovaných služeb. K výzkumu byla využita kvantitativní výzkumná strategie a technika strukturovaného dotazníku. Výsledky výzkumu jsou interpretovány v závěru práce.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with the organizational culture of the home for the elderly due to the quality of care. The theoretical part describes elements of organizational culture, i.e values, norms, attitudes, practices, symbols, language, communication, stories, habits, ceremonies, artifacts, relationships, ethics, behavior, teamwork, and indicators of quality of care measurement, long-term care focused on the elderly, practical competencies of employees, importance of quality of care, description of the surveyed organization. The aim of the research is to identify the relationship between the characteristics of the organization culture and the quality of the services provided. The research used quantitative research strategy and structured questionnaire technique. The research results are interpreted at the end of the paper.
