Optimization distribution of refrigerated and frozen foods

Abstract:

Moje bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na optimalizaci nákladů v dopravní firmě, především pak na snížení nákladů spojených s každodenním rozvozem zboží. Z důvodu pochopení problému jsem nejprve popsala celý proces distribuce chlazeného a mraženého zboží, s ním spjaté veškeré požadavky ze strany zákazníků a zákony vztahující se k přepravě specifického druhu potravin. Dále se zabývám vybraným typem rozvozní úlohy v podobě matematického modelu, který popisuje operační výzkum. Největším přínosem celé práce je pak porovnání skutečně vynaložených nákladů s náklady po optimalizaci a celé zhodnocení situace i se všemi ovlivňujícími aspekty.

Abstract:

My bachelor thesis focuses on optimizing costs in a transport company, especially to reduce the costs associated with the daily delivery of goods. Due to understand the problem I described the whole process of distribution of chilled and frozen goods, all customer requirements and law relating to the carriage of a specific type of food. Furthermore, there is described a specific type of the vehicle routing role as a mathematical model that the operations research describes. The biggest contribution of the entire bachelor thesis is comparing the actual costs with costs after optimization and evaluation the whole situation with all influencing aspects.
