Accounting depiction of crowdfunding in a selected non-profit organization

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na crowdfunding v nestátních neziskových organizacích, a jak se celý proces crowdfundingové kampaně promítne v účetnictví. Teoretická část se zabývá nestátními neziskovými organizacemi, jejich charakteristikou a jakým způsobem jsou financovány. Mimo jiné je v práci blíže specifikován spolek, jako jedna z právních forem. Dále je vymezen pojem crowdfunding a jeho modely včetně výhod a nevýhod. V praktické části je nejprve představen spolek Veřejný sál Hraničář a crowdfundingová kampaň na Digitalizaci kina. Následuje samotná kampaň a její promítnutí do účetnictví: náklady před zahájením kampaně, činnosti týkající se ukončení crowdfundingové kampaně a závěrečné zaúčtování záloh na dlouhodobý majetek včetně jeho zařazení.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis is focused on crowdfunding in non-governmental non-profit organizations and how the whole process of crowdfunding campaign is reflected in accounting. The theoretical part deals with non-governmental non-profit organizations, their characteristics and how they are funded. Among other things, the work specifies the association as one of the legal forms. Furthermore, the concept of crowdfunding and its models are defined, including advantages and disadvantages. In the practical part, the association Veřejný sál Hraničář and the crowdfunding campaign for the Digitization of the Cinema are introduced first. This is followed by the campaign itself and its reflection in the accountancy: pre-campaign costs, activities related to the end of the crowdfunding campaign and the final booking of advances on fixed assets, including its inclusion.
