Efekty organicky bohatých substrátů na půdní biotu

Abstract:

Organicky bohaté substráty jsou materiály, které lze dále velmi prospšn zužitkovat napíklad v zemdlství a pi rekultivacích. Vedle organické hmoty a asto i dostatku živin mohou však obsahovat i adu škodlivých látek (nap. tžké kovy, POPs). Z tohoto hlediska jsou rizikové pedevším kaly z istíren odpadních vod. Tato práce je zamena na dva typy OBS, již zmínné kaly z OV a pehradní sedimenty. U sediment z brnnské pehrady bylo hlavní myšlenkou ovit jejich pedpoklady stát se rekultivaním materiálem. Testovanou rekultivovanou zeminou byla hlušina z dlní výsypky. Formou nádobového experimentu se na sedmi substrátech s rzným pomrem hlušiny a sedimentu pozoroval úinek sedimentu na adu mikrobiálních parametr (biomasa, bazální respirace, potenciální respirace, amonifikace, nitrifikace, dehydrogenázová aktivita, funkní diverzita), hmotnost a reprodukci žížal Eisenia fetida a na vzcházivost, vzrst a hmotnost nadzemních ástí rostlin Sinapis alba. Souasn byly u všech pd sledovány fyzikáln-chemické a fyzikální parametry a obsah nkterých perzistentních organických polutant. Výsledky stanovení biologických i fyzikálních parametr prokázalo pozitivní vliv pehradního sedimentu na hlušinu a tato studie potvrdila, že je bude možno po pípadném vytžení dále njakým vybraným zpsobem zužitkovat, napíklad k rekultivacím. Pokus s kaly z ÚOV Praha byl oproti pedchozímu experimentu, kde byly na rzných parametrech a organismech sledovány pozitivní úinky, založen na testování toxixity. Mla zde být ovena možnost rutinního testování toxicity istírenských kal pomocí test pdní ekotoxikologie. Ty by se v budoucnu mohly stát souástí posuzování nezávadnosti kal pro zemdlské využití. Bylo pipraveno deset substrát s koncentrací kalu 0 100 % a na nich byly provedeny standardní testy s Folsomia candida, Caenorhabditis elegans, Enchytraeus crypticus a Enchytraeus albidus. Sledovalo se pežití dosplc a vyjma C. elegans také reprodukce a z výsledných hodnot byly stanoveny hodnoty NOEC, LOEC, LC (EC)10 a LC (EC)50. Výsledky dokazují, že použité testy lze využívat k hodnocení toxicity istírenských kal, díky krátkému trvání má v tomto smru nejvtší perspektivu pravdpodobn test s Caenorhabditis elegans.

Abstract:

Organic rich substrates are materials which can be very useful in agriculture or for recultivation. Aside from organic matter and often also many nutrients they can contain lot of harmful substances (for example heavy metals, POPs). From this viewpoint represents the main risk; sewage sludges from wastewater treatment plants. This thesis is focused on two kinds of organic rich substrates which are already mentioned: sewage sludges and reservoir sediments. With Brno reservoir sediments my main goal was to verify their possibility to become recultivation material. The tested soil ment to be recultivated - was the dump soil from the coal mine. During the pot experiment with several substrates (each of them had different rates of sediments and dump soil) a positive effect of sediments was observed on many of microbial parameters (microbial biomass, basal respiration, potential respiration, ammonification, nitrification, dehydrogenase activity, functional diversity), on weight and reproduction of earthworms Eisenia fetida and on germination, growth and weight of Sinapis alba. At the same time physico-chemical, physical parameters and contents of POPs were observed in all kinds of soils. Results of biological and physical parameters proved the positive influence of reservoir sediment on dump soil and this study established that the sediments can still be usefully used after digging (for example for recultivation). The experiment with sewage sludges from the Central wastewater treatment plant in Prague was based on toxicity testing (in contrast to the first study where the positive effects were observed). Here the possibility of routine testing of sewage sludge toxicity through the soil ecotoxicology tests should have been verified. In the future they should become part of common sludges harmfulness assessing. There were 10 substrates with contents of sewage sludge 0 - 100% prepared. Standard toxicity tests with Folsomia candida, Caenorhabditis elegans, Enchytraeus crypticus and Enchytraeus albidus were performed on them. There was survival of adults and reproduction (except C.elegans) monitored and from the final results the NOEC, LOEC, LC (EC)10 and LC (EC)50 values were determined. The results have proved that these tests can be used for sewage sludges toxicity assessing. Because of the short duration of the test with Caenorhabditis elegans it should be considered the most efficient.
