The readiness of pupils with the SPU in the transition from the first grade of elementary school in the second grade

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá připraveností žáků se specifickými poruchami učení při přechodu z prvního stupně základní školy na druhý stupeň. Práce se skládá ze čtyř kapitol, z nichž každá obsahuje čtyři podkapitoly. První kapitola popisuje specifické poruchy učení se zaměřením na význam dovednosti číst, psát a počítat v dnešní společnosti, definici specifických poruch učení, jejich projevy a souvislost s poruchami chování. Druhá kapitola se věnuje psychickému vývoji jedince s SPU, vývoji dítěte školního věku, sociálnímu a emocionálnímu vývoji žáků s SPU a vlivu školní neúspěšnosti na osobnost dítěte. Třetí kapitola je zaměřena na edukační proces žáků s SPU, vzdělávání na málotřídní škole a na připravenost žáků na přechod z prvního na druhý stupeň základní školy. Čtvrtá kapitola tvoří praktickou část, která je zpracována na základě charakteristiky konkrétní málotřídní školy, kazuistiky žáků se specifickými poruchami učení a rozhovorů s žáky, jejich zákonnými zástupci a učiteli.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis discusses the area of the readiness of pupils with the specific learning disabilities in the transition from the first grade of elementary school in the second grade. The thesis is divided into four chapters and each of them includes four sections. The first chapter describes specific learning disabilities with a focus on the importance of skills to read, write and count in today´s society, the definition of specific learning disabilities, their speeches and the link with behavioral problems. The second chapter describes mental development of pupils with specific learning disabilities, specifics of child development, social and motive development of pupils with specific learning disabilities and the impact of school failure on the child´s personality. The third chapter is focused on education of pupils with specific learning disabilities, the specifics of educational small school with composite classes and the readiness of pupils with the specific learning disabilities in the transition from the first grade of elementary school in the second grade. The fourth chapter consists of the practical part, which is compiled based on the characteristics of a particular small school with composite classes, case studies of pupils with specific learning disabilities and interviews with pupils, their parents and teachers.
