Evaluation of the economic efficiency of the investment plan implemented by the company Green force, s.r.o.

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá investičním projektem v podobě fotovoltaické elektrárny na střeše rodinného domu. Primárním cílem práce je zhodnotit, zda je investiční projekt z hlediska ekonomické efektivnosti pro investora přijatelný. Sekundárním cílem je poté analyzovat významná rizika spojená s pořízením a provozem fotovoltaiky. Je zde teoreticky popsáno investiční rozhodování, investiční projekt, plánování peněžních toků, zdroje financování investic a podstatnou část představuje popis metod hodnocení ekonomické efektivnosti investičního projektu a rizik v investičním rozhodování. Praktická část diplomové práce obsahuje hodnocení ekonomické efektivnosti na základě finančních kritérií, přičemž jsou zde porovnány výsledky na základě odhadnutých hodnot výroby solární energie z projektové dokumentace a skutečně naměřených hodnot v prvním roce. Dále zde byla identifikována a zhodnocena rizika z hlediska jejich významnosti pro daný projekt. Výsledkem práce je, že investiční projekt je na základě všech kritérií pro investora přijatelný a udělal dobré rozhodnutí, když investiční projekt realizoval. Zároveň také analýza rizik prokázala, že projekt je schopen obstát bez větších problémů.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with an investment project in the form of a photovoltaic power plant on the roof of a family house. The primary objective of the thesis is to evaluate whether the investment project is acceptable for the investor in terms of economic efficiency. The secondary objective is to analyze the significant risks associated with the acquisition and operation of photovoltaics. Investment decision-making, investment project, cash flow planning, sources of investment financing are theoretically described here, and a substantial part is a description of methods for evaluating the economic effectiveness of an investment project and risks in investment decision-making. The practical part of the thesis contains an evaluation of economic efficiency based on financial criteria, while the results based on the estimated values of solar energy production from the project documentation and the actual measured values in the first year are compared here. Furthermore, risks were identified and evaluated in terms of their significance for the given project. The result of the thesis is that the investment project is acceptable to the investor based on all criteria and he made a good decision when he implemented the investment project. At the same time, the risk analysis also proved that the project could survive without major problems.
