The Project to Streamline of the Production Department Using the SMED Method in the Selected Company

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zaměřuje na zefektivnění výrobního oddělení ve vybrané společnosti. Hlavním cílem práce je snížit průměrné časy přetypování o 10 % na každém stroji vybraného oddělení. K dosažení hlavního cíle je využita metoda SMED a další metody či nástroje průmyslového inženýrství, jež jsou předmětem literární rešerše v teoretické části práce. Praktická část se ve svém počátku zabývá analýzou výrobního oddělení a procesem současné přestavby při změně zakázky. Na základě výsledků analytické části jsou navrženy zlepšující návrhy, které podporují specifikované ukazatele zlepšení. Následná část práce se již zabývá implementací návrhů pro zefektivnění, a jejich následnou standardizací. V závěru diplomové práce jsou implementované změny zhodnoceny s ohledem na celkový dopad vůči klíčovým ukazatelům zlepšení.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis focuses on the streamlining of the production department in a selected company. The main objective of the thesis is to reduce the average changeover times by 10 % on each machine of the selected department. To achieve the main objective, SMED method and other industrial engineering methods or techniques are used, which are the topic of literature research in the theoretical part of the thesis. The practical part, at the beginning, focuses on the analysis of the production department and the process of current state of the changeover. Based on the results of the analysis part, improvement proposals are suggested to support the improvement of the specified improvement indicators. The following part of the thesis already focuses on the implementation of the streamlining proposals and their following standardization. At the end of the thesis, the implemented changes are evaluated with consideration of the overall impact against the key performance indicators.
