Předkládaná diplomová práce se zabývá jedním z nástrojů pozitivní zdvořilosti – komplimenty. The present diploma thesis deals with one of the positive politeness devices – compliments. Since extensive research on this topic has been conducted, the thesis rather focuses on a relatively unexplored area of spoken language in which compliments frequently occur.
