Motivation and Remuneration of Employees in the Selected Company

Abstract:

Odměňování a motivace je jednou z nejdůležitějších a klíčových personálních činností. Správně nastavený systém vede ke spokojenosti a vyšší produktivitě zaměstnanců. V první části diplomové práce je provedena literární rešerše a zhodnocení existujících teoretických názorů, teoretická východiska zvolené problematiky s vymezením nejrůznějších pojmů souvisejících se zvoleným tématem. Druhá část diplomové práce obsahuje vlastní koncepci řešení problematiky, kdy je popsána zvolená společnost, historie a současnost odměňování a motivace ve společnosti. Jako společnost je zvolena dopravní společnost, kterou založil před více jak 25 lety můj otec. Obsahem diplomové práce je analýza současného stavu motivace a odměňování zaměstnanců zvolené společnosti. Provedeno je posouzení, zhodnocení získaných informací o vybrané problematice pomocí dotazníkového šetření, jejich konfrontace s teoretickými, dosud známými podklady. Cílem diplomové práce je navrhnout změny a poskytnout doporučení v oblasti motivace a odměňování zaměstnanců zvolené společnosti.

Abstract:

Compensation and motivation is one of the most important and key personnel activities. A properly set system leads to employee satisfaction and higher productivity. In the first part of the diploma thesis, a literature search and evaluation of existing theoretical opinions, theoretical starting points of the chosen issue with the definition of various concepts related to the chosen topic is carried out. The second part of the diploma thesis contains its own concept of solving the problem, where the chosen company, the history and the present of remuneration and motivation in the company are described. The chosen company is a transport company founded more than 25 years ago by my father. The content of the thesis is an analysis of the current state of motivation and remuneration of employees of the chosen company. An assessment and evaluation of the obtained information on the selected issue is carried out using a questionnaire survey, their confrontation with the theoretical, so far known sources. The aim of the diploma thesis is to propose changes and provide recommendations in the area of motivation and remuneration of employees of the chosen company.
