Use of printed and electronic educational resources in the education of secondary school students

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá užíváním tištěných a digitálních edukačních zdrojů v hodinách anglického jazyka na středních odborných školách a gymnáziích. Cílem této práce je na výzkumném souboru 60 žáků středních škol popsat frekvenci užívání konkrétních edukačních zdrojů a preference žáků při výběru těchto zdrojů a zjistit, jak se frekvence užívání těchto zdrojů liší na základě typu střední školy, a jak byly tyto faktory ovlivněny zkušeností s distanční výukou. Pomocí kvantitativního výzkumu, popisných statistik a testu dobré shody chí-kvadrát je zaznamenána souvislost nejen mezi typem střední školy a preferencemi žáků, ale také proměnou preferencí žáků vlivem zkušenosti s distanční výukou.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with the use of printed and digital educational resources in English language lessons at high schools. The aim of this work is to describe the frequency of use of specific educational resources and the preferences of students in choosing these resources. This diploma thesis aims to find out in a research group of 60 high school students how the frequency of the use of these resources varies based on the type of high school, and how these factors were influenced by the experience of distance learning. Using quantitative research, descriptive statistics and a chi-square test, a link is recorded not only between the type of secondary school and pupils 'preferences, but also the changing pupils' preferences due to the experience of distance learning.
