The impact of Covid-19 pandemic on the Italian Economy

Abstract:

Pandemie Covid-19, která se mezi koncem roku 2019 a prvními měsíci roku 2020 rozšířila téměř ve všech zemích světa, dosud způsobila výrazné ztráty jak na životech, tak na ekonomikách jednotlivých zemí. Diplomová práce se zabývá dopady coronavirové pandemie na italskou ekonomiku. Hlavním cílem diplomové práce je analýza těchto dopadů, které je dosaženo prostřednictvím sledování vzájemných souvislostí jednotlivých částí problematiky a jejich následného zhodnocení. Konkrétně se zaměřuje na první vlnu coronaviru a zavedená opatření na zmírnění jejich dopadů. Sekundárním cílem práce je snaha o prokázání, zda zavedená mimořádná opatření byla adekvátní či nikoliv. V závěru práce jsou formulovány návrhy na podporu italské ekonomiky. Co se týká metod výzkumu, v první části práce je využita především deskripce, u následujících kapitol lze zmínit analýzu a syntézu, konkrétně dedukci a indukci. Práce je současně postavena na shromáždění velkého množství dat.

Abstract:

The Covid-19 pandemic, which spread to almost every country in the world between the end of 2019 and the first months of 2020, has so far caused significant losses to both the lives and economies of individual countries. The diploma thesis deals with the effects of the coronavirus pandemic on the Italian economy. The main goal of the diploma thesis is the analysis of these impacts, which is achieved through monitoring the interrelationships of individual parts of the issue and their following evaluation. Specifically, it focuses on the first wave of coronavirus and the measures introduced to mitigate its effects. The secondary goal of the work is to try to prove whether the introduced emergency measures were adequate or not. At the end of the work there are formulated proposals to support the Italian economy. As for research methods, in the first part of the work mainly description is used, in the following parts the methods are analysis and synthesis, specifically deduction and induction. At the same time the work is based on the collection of large amounts of data.
