Diplomová práce nejprve v teoretické části seznámí s nejčastějším nezhoubným onemocněním u mužů nad 50 let zvaným benigní hyperplazie prostaty a to zejména z pohledu anatomie, etiopatogeneze, symptomatologie, komplikací, vyšetření a léčby. The theoretical part of my thesis at first introduces the most common benign neoplasm in men over fifty, a non cancerous prostate gland enlargement called the benign prostate hyperplasia (BPH). The main focus of this section will be on BPH's anatomy, etiology, symptomatology, complications, diagnosis and therapy.
