The Conceptions of Criminal Law to the Relations of People with Hearing Impairment

Abstract:

Práce přibližuje problematiku sluchově postižených, ve vztahu k trestnímu právu. Objasňuje základy trestního práva. Co je trestní právo, trestný čin a jeho znaky. Formální a materiální stránka trestného činu. Pojem trestu, ochranných opatření a jejich účel. Zaměřuje se na problematiku sluchového postižení. Klasifikaci sluchových vad a jejich dělení. Rovněž se zaměřuje na osobnost sluchově postiženého, na komunikační systémy užívané sluchově postiženými. Práce nastiňuje tlumočnické služby pro osoby se sluchovým postižením, především soudní tlumočení. Prostor je věnován i problematice trestního práva ve vztahu k sluchově postiženým a specifikům tlumočení pojmů trestního práva, které vychází z mých vlastních zkušeností získaných během studia.

Abstract:

The thesis covers the topic of the people with the hearing impairment in the context of the penal law. It outlines the basic ideas of the penal law including the definition of the penal law, the sentence and its characteristics, the formal and the material aspect of the criminal offence. It investigates the criminal offence, the protection measure and the principle of the above mentioned. The thesis further focuses on the topic of the hearing impairment, classifies the hearing impairment and describes each group in detail. It covers as well the personality of the person with the hearing impairment and the communication systems of people with the hearing impairment. The thesis clarifies the role of the certified translator services, mainly services used in the court. As a final point, it explores the topic of the penal law in the context of the interpreting services for the people with the hearing impairment. It mainly highlights the specificity of the interpretation of the terms used in the penal law based on the personal experience of the author during her studies.
