Leadership of employees in the business practice using the coaching method

Abstract:

Diplomová práce je zaměřena na vedení zaměstnanců v manažerské praxi s využitím metody koučování. Hlavním cílem je zhodnotit současný způsob vedení zaměstnanců ve společnosti XY a zda manažeři využívají metodu koučování jako jeden z nástrojů vedení lidí. K dosažení cíle je využito hloubkových rozhovorů s pracovníky organizace a metody otevřeného kódování. Přínosem práce je na základě zjištěných poznatků navrhnout doporučení ke zlepšení současné situace týkající se využívaného stylu vedení zaměstnanců a použití metody koučování. První část práce se skládá z teoretických pojmů, které se týkají oblasti řízení a vedení lidí a oblasti koučování. Dále na tyto poznatky navazuje praktická část, která analyzuje současný způsob vedení zaměstnanců ve zmíněné společnosti. V závěru práce jsou interpretována získaná data společně s doporučením, která by mohla vést ke zvýšení pracovních výkonů a celkové spokojenosti zaměstnanců.

Abstract:

The Master‘s Thesis is focused on leadership of employees in the business practice using the coaching method. The main objective is to evaluate the current way of leadership in company XY and also to find out if the managers use coaching method as a form of leadership. To achieve the goal, it is used in-depth interviews with employees of the company and an open encoding method. The benefit of this work is to suggest recommendations from the findings that could lead to an improvement of current situation regarding the used leadership style and the use of coaching method. The first part of the thesis defines theoretical concepts related to manage-ment and leadership as well as the coaching method. Furthermore, the practical part follows the theoretical findings, where we can reach the analysis of current way of leadership. In con-clusion, the results/acquired data are interpreted alongside the recommendations that could lead to an increase in work performance and overall satisfaction of employees.
