Orienteering taught in physical education lessons in the 6-9th grades of an elementary school

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá výukou orientačního běhu ve školní tělesné výchově. Práce navrhuje metodiku orientačního běhu v pěti vyučovacích hodinách v rozsahu 45 - 90 minut. Úvodní dvě hodiny metodiky jsou teoretické, zbývající hodiny jsou praktické. Ověření navržené metodiky probíhalo ve třídách šestého a devátého ročníku na Základní škole ve Vratislavicích nad Nisou. Z ověření metodiky vyplynuly nedostatky v časovém rozvržení, ve volbě vyučovacích metod a organizačních forem a v materiálních požadavcích.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis explores education in orienteering in elementary school physical education classes. It proposes an orienteering methodology taught in 5 lessons, each lasting 45-90 minutes. The theory is outlined in the first two hours; the remaining two lessons are reserved for physical practice. The methodology was tested at the elementary school at Vratislavice nad Nisou, and its main liabilities were identified, most notably in the time scheduling, in the selection of the teaching methods, in the organization and availability of suitable equipment.
