Design of a roundabout on the square in the village of Hostěradice

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá studií dopravního řešení stávající křižovatky na náměstí v obci Hostěradice, kde autor navrhuje okružní křižovatku dle zásad bezpečného návrhu. Důraz je kladen na zvýšení bezpečnosti všech účastníků silničního provozu, návaznost na stávající plochy a ochranu životního prostředí. Práce zachycuje popis dopravní dostupnosti i širších vztahů Hostěradic z důvodu případné záměny s obcí se stejným názvem. Klíčovou roli zde také sehrává představení současného stavu z hlediska bezpečnosti či charakteristika dalších návrhů jiných autorů.

Abstract:

The bachelor's thesis deals with the study of the traffic solution of the existing intersection on the square in the village of Hostěradice, where the author proposes a roundabout according to the principles of safe design. Main focus is about increasing safety of all road users, continuity with existing areas and environmental protection. This thesis describes the transport availability and important localities in the vicinity of Hostěradice due to possible confusion with the village of the same name. The presentation of the current state from the safety point of view or the characteristics of different designs by other authors also plays a key role here.
