Innovation of the information system in the production enterprise

Abstract:

Diplomová práce Inovace informačního systému ve výrobním podniku se zabývá zkoumáním implementace inovace podnikového informačního systému ve výrobním podniku HOKAMI CZ s.r.o. První část práce se věnuje teoretické rovině podnikových informačních systémů a vymezení základních pojmů z oboru. Vychází z odborné literatury. Je zaměřena na obecnou charakteristiku podnikových systémů, ERP systémů, jejich vývoj a trendy. Dále představuje inovace a procesy implementace inovace podnikových systémů. Další kapitoly jsou zaměřeny na oblast jednotlivých strategií zavádění nového IS a jejich odlišné přístupy k inovacím podnikových IS. Praktická část seznamuje s vybraným výrobním podnikem, jeho historií i aktuální situací ve firmě. Představuje původně využívaný IS a nově zavedený IS a porovnává jejich výhody i nevýhody. Dále představuje přínosy implementace nového IS s odstupem několika let. Závěrem navrhuje možnosti inovace v rámci současného informačního systému.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis Innovation of an information system in the production enterprise focuses on implementation of a new information system (IS) in a manufacturing company HOKAMI CZ s.r.o. The first part of the thesis defines basic terms and summarizes the theoretical background of an enterprise information system (EIS). This part is based on available technical literature. It describes the general characteristics of enterprise systems, ERP systems, their development and trends. The first part also presents innovations and processes of their implementation into a company. The next chapters are focused on various strategies of introducing a new IS and their approaches to EIS innovations. The practical part introduces the selected manufacturing company, its history and the current situation in the company. It describes the previously used IS and the newly introduced IS. The practical part compares the benefits and disadvantages of each IS after several years from implementation of the new system. The final part suggests additional possible innovations of the current IS.
