Analysis and identification of educational needs of kindergarten teachers

Abstract:

Magisterská diplomová práce se zabývá analýzou a identifikací vzdělávacích potřeb učitelek mateřské školy. Cílem práce je zjistit, jaké vzdělávací potřeby mají učitelky konkrétní mateřské školy. Teoretická část definuje východiska související s dalším profesním vzděláváním, analýzou a identifikací vzdělávacích potřeb, pojmem učitel mateřské školy, jeho kvalifikačními požadavky. Dále také legislativní ukotvení učitele jako pedagogického pracovníka a dále jsou popsány požadavky na výkon profese. Výzkumná část zjišťuje prostřednictvím obsahové analýzy dokumentů a dotazování vzdělávací potřeby učitelek mateřské školy. Metoda obsahové analýzy dokumentů a polostrukturovaného rozhovoru s ředitelkou mateřské školy posloužila k vytvoření dokumentu popisu pracovního místa učitele mateřské školy, v rámci, kterého jsou definovány požadavky na náplň práce pro pozici učitele mateřské školy. Popis pracovního místa se stal podkladem pro dotazníkové šetření zjišťující vzdělávací potřeby, jehož se zúčastnily všechny učitelky jedné mateřské školy. Dotazníkové šetření umožnilo konkretizovat oblasti ve vzdělávání, u kterých učitelky cítí vzdělávací potřebu. Zjištěné vzdělávací potřeby byly porovnány se vzdělávacími potřebami, které byly vnímány ředitelkou mateřské školy. S výsledky šetření byla následně seznámena mateřská škola a ředitelce byly předloženy návrhy doporučení vzdělávání pro další vzdělávání pedagogických pracovníků za základně zjištěných výsledků.

Abstract:

The master's thesis deals with the analysis and identification of the educational needs of kindergarten teachers. The aim of the thesis is to find out what educational needs have the teachers of the particular kindergarten. The theoretical part defines the starting points related to the further professional education, the analysis and identification of educational needs, the concept of kindergarten teacher, his qualification requirements. Furthermore, the legislative anchoring of the teacher as a pedagogical worker and the requirements for the performance of the profession are also described. The research part investigates the educational needs of kindergarten teachers through the content analysis of documents and questioning. The method of content analysis of documents and a semistructured interview with the director of the kindergarten was used to create a document of describing the job of a kindergarten teacher. The job requirements for the position of a preschool teacher are defined from this document. The job description became the basis for a questionnaire survey identifying educational needs, in which all teachers of one kindergarten participated. The questionnaire survey made it possible to specify the areas in education in which female teachers feel the need for training. The identified educational needs were compared with the educational needs perceived by the kindergarten director. The results of the investigation were then presented to the kindergarten, and the director was then subsequently informed of possible suggestions for the further education of teaching staff.
