Abstract:

Cílem diplomové práce je určit pomocí analýzy nákladů a přínosů (CBA), zda by sběr a zpracování použitého kuchyňského oleje přinesl dotčeným stakeholderům vyšší přínosy než náklady. Teoretická část práce představuje základní metody výroby bionafty na bázi použitého jedlého oleje, regulační rámec biopaliv a relevantní teorii analýzy nákladů a přínosů z hlediska energetických projektů. Praktická část charakterizuje socioekonomický kontext výroby bionafty, definuje cíle a akce projektu, vypočítává relevantní finanční a ekonomické ukazatele pro analýzu udržitelnosti projektu a provádí analýzu rizik. Z provedené CBA vyplývá, že celkový dopad využití použitého kuchyňského oleje jako bionafty představuje čisté celospolečenské náklady –734 mil. Kč, proto by měl být projekt z ekonomického hlediska zamítnut.

Abstract:

The aim of the master’s thesis is to determine through cost-benefit analysis (CBA) whether the collection and process of used cooking oil would generate higher benefits for the stakeholders impacted than the costs it imposes. The theoretical part of the thesis presents the basic methods for used cooking oil-based biodiesel production, the regulatory framework of used cooking oil-based biofuels and a relevant theory of cost- benefit analysis in terms of energy projects. The practical part characterizes the socio- economic context for biodiesel production, defines the objectives and actions of the project, calculates relevant financial and economic indicators to analyse the sustainability of the project and conducts a risk analysis. The conducted CBA shows that the overall impact of the utilization of used cooking oil as a biodiesel represents a net societal cost of –734 million CZK therefore the project should be declined from an economic viewpoint.
