Tato bakalářská práce pojednává o Václavu Vackovi, novináři, politikovi, pražském primátorovi. Práce vychází z pamětí samotného Václava Vacka a jeho manželky Marie vydaných v první polovině šedesátých let minulého století, z osobní návštěvy v Národním archivu v Praze, kde je uložen archiv Václava Vacka, a z historiografické literatury vydané po roce 1989. Abstract:
This bachelor thesis deals with Václav Vacek, journalist, politician, mayor of Prague. The work is based on the memoirs of Václav Vacek and his wife Marie published in the first half of the sixties, a personal visit to the National Archives in Prague, where the archive of Vaclav Vacek is stored, and historiographic literature published after 1989.
