Abstract:

Alzheimerova demence, ale také další onemocnění způsobující syndrom demence jsou vzhledem k vysokému a stále narůstajícímu počtu osob, vzhledem k závažným dopadům tohoto onemocnění na samotný život osob, zásadním tématem pro oblast jak zdravotnického, tak sociálního systému služeb. Je to také výzva pro samotnou sociální práci. Cílem diplomové práce je nejen poukázat na nové potřeby, adaptaci na nové podmínky, které se objevují v životě seniorů s Alzheimerovou demencí, právě v důsledku tohoto onemocnění, ale také zmapovat možnosti sociální práce se seniory s Alzheimerovou demencí, a zmapovat možnosti dostupných služeb. Druhým cílem diplomové práce je zjistit, jak pracovníci konkrétní pobytové služby (DZR Havířov) identifikují potřeby seniora s Alzheimerovou demencí v průběhu adaptace na tuto pobytovou službu a jak mohou, z jejich pohledu, tato zjištění ovlivnit samotný adaptační proces seniora. V teoretické práci jsem využila analýzu relevantní literatury, dokumentů a také legislativy vážící se k danému tématu práce a vytvořila přehlednou stať, ze které následně čerpá i část praktická. Praktická část práce obsahuje jak metodologickou stránku, tak tu empirickou. Pro samotný výzkum byla využita kvalitativní strategie, jako metoda byla zvolena případová studie.

Abstract:

Alzheimer's disease, but also other diseases causing dementia syndrome, is due to the high and ever increasing number of people, given the serious consequences of the disease itself on the lives of individuals, the key issue for the region as a health and social services system. It is also a challenge for social work itself. The aim of this thesis is to point to the new needs, adapt to the new conditions that occur in the lives of seniors with Alzheimer's dementia, precisely because of this disease, but also to map the possibilities of social work with seniors with Alzheimer's dementia, and mapping options available services. The second objective of this thesis is to investigate how employees of a specific residential services (DZR Havířov) identify the needs of seniors with Alzheimer's dementia during adaptation to this residential services and how they can, in their view, these findings affect the adaptation process itself senior. In the theoretical part of dissertation I used the analysis of relevant literature, documents and legislative pertaining to the topic of work and then I created a transparent essay, which uses also the practical part. The practical part of this dissertation includes both methodological and empirical page. For the research was used qualitative strategy, for the method was used the case study.
