The Nature, the Different and Common Elements of Control and Audit

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce řeší problematiku kontroly a auditu, popisuje jejich společné a rozdílné prvky. Prace jsem rozdělila do části teoretické a části praktické. Teoretická část je věnovaná základním principům a funkcím z oblasti auditu a kontroly. Byli prozkoumány pojmy interní a externí audit, vnitřní kontrolní systém, také bylo provedeno porovnání těchto pojmů, z hlediska cílů, předmětů, právní úpravy a uživatelů. Dále jako shrnuti teoretické části jsem uvedla srovnávací charakteristiku interního a externího auditu; interního auditu a vnitřní kontroly. V aplikační části jsem popsala pracovní postup a průběh provedení auditu na praktickém příkladu. Na daném přikladu jsem aplikovala audit účetních výkazu, kromě toho jsem se zaměřila na jednotlivé fáze provedení auditu daného druhu. Následně jsem přistoupila ke zpracování auditorské zprávy Dále jsem popsala specifiku a uspořádaní vnitřního kontrolního systému ve firme, a pak jsem provedla interní audit v uvedené společnosti.

Abstract:

The thesis is aimed at the issue of control and audit, describes their common and different elements. The research is divided into theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part discusses basic principles and functions of audit and control. Also I made a research of the concepts of internal and external audit, internal control system, including a comparison of these concepts in terms of goals, objects, rules, and users. Furthermore, as a summary of the theoretical part, I described comparative characteristics of internal and external audit, internal audit and internal control. The empirical part describes the procedure and the process of audit on a practical example. On the given example I applied audit of financial statements, also I looked at each phase of the audit of this type. Then I proceeded to the preparation of the audit report. The next point was to describe specifics and organization of internal control system in the company. Subsequently I performed the process of an internal audit in the stated company.
