Diplomová práce se hlouběji zabývá Cyrilometodějskou stezkou a Cyrilometodějskou tradicí, s důrazem na život a dílo svatých Cyrila a Metoděje a jejich vliv na regionální kulturu a historii. Práce rovněž podává rozsáhlý pohled na historický význam pěších poutí, zejména v kontextu křesťanství.
