Cílem této práce bylo zjistit změny v antioxidačním systému u deprese jako projev reakce na oxidační stres. Byl srovnáván soubor pacientek s depresí se souborem zdravých kontrol v hodnotě celkové antioxidační kapacity séra stanovené pomocí metody TRAP (Total-peroxylRadikal- trapping Antioxidant Parametr). The aim of this work was to assess changes in the antioxidant system in depression which represent a reaction on oxidative stress. A sample of female patients with depression was compared with a sample of healthy controls in terms of total antioxidant capacity of the serum assessed using the TRAP method (Total peroxyl-radical- trapping Antioxidant Parametr).
