Digital teaching material for physical education classes

Abstract:

Nowadays, it's not a problem to find teaching materials for any subject, more complicated part is to find the one that will be suitable for the specific teaching process of a teacher. The aim of the diploma paper was to analyze available teaching materials, that are being used by physical education teachers of second degree students in elementary schools. We analyzed the materials using a questionnaire. The questionnaire's purpose was also to gather information about the teaching materials which physical education teachers are using in practice. The attendants of the research were 96 physical education teachers of second degree students in elementary schools in Czech Republic and Slovak republic. The respondents marked gymnastics (86,5%) as a study for what they use teaching materials the most frequently. Up to 85,4% of the respondents in the questionnaire pointed that they prefer digital teaching material. Based on these findings, we created digital teaching material which is accessible in digital environment and is focused on subject of gymnastics. In classes of physical education the respondents most commonly use video recordings (74%), pictures (53,1%) and textbooks (51%). The digital teaching material that we created is focused on instructive videos, which include detailed descriptions of acrobatic exercises (tieto názvy netuším ako správne preložiť, pozri si to niekde ešte v nejakom slovníku alebo čo), on different variations of these exercises and the instructions which are awaiting students in physical education classes. The digital teaching material, which we named Physical education - acrobatic exercises, we verified in practice and the physical education teachers wrote us short reviews, which all sounded very positive. They appreciated theoretical knowledge, for which there is usually no time during physical education classes. They were impressed by assignments from the digital textbook, because they can help students with preparation for classes at home. The teachers also liked graphic design of the digital textbook and using of interactive elements

Abstract:

V dnešnej dobe nie je problém nájsť učebný materiál do ktoréhokoľvek predmetu, náročnejšia časť je nájsť ten vhodný, ktorý vám ako učiteľovi bude vo vyučovacom procese vyhovovať. Cieľom diplomovej práce bola analýza dostupných učebných materiálov, ktoré využívajú učitelia telesnej výchovy na 2. stupni základných škôl a to prostredníctvom dotazníkového šetrenia. Dotazník slúžil aj na zhromaždenie informácií ohľadom učebných materiálov, ktoré využívajú učitelia telesnej výchovy. Do výskumu sa zapojilo celkovo 96 učiteľov telesnej výchovy na 2. stupni základných škôl, ktorí pôsobia v Českej republike a na Slovensku. Respondenti označili gymnastiku (86,5 %) ako učivo, pre ktoré najviac využívajú učebné materiály. Až 85,4 % respondentov v dotazníku označilo, že preferujú viac digitálny učebný materiál. Na základe týchto zistení, sme vytvorili digitálny učebný materiál, ktorý je dostupný v online prostredí a je zameraný práve na tematický celok gymnastika. Do hodín telesnej výchovy respondenti najviac používajú videonahrávky (74 %), obrázky (53,1 %) a učebnice (51 %). Digitálny učebný materiál, ktorý sme vytvorili, je zameraný na inštruktívne videá, ktoré obsahujú detailný popis akrobatických cvičení (kotúľ vpred, kotúľ vzad, stoj na rukách, premet stranou), na rôzne varianty týchto cvičení a na postupy, ktoré budú čakať žiakov v hodine telesnej výchovy. O digitálnom učebnom materiály, ktorý sme nazvali Telesná výchova - akrobatické cvičenia, nám učitelia napísali recenzentné hodnotenie, ktoré zneli veľmi kladne. Bohužiaľ, overenie v praxi neprebehlo. Ocenili teoretické znalosti, na ktoré často v hodinách telesnej výchovy nie je čas. Zaujali ich úlohy, ktoré sa nachádzajú v digitálnej učebnici a tým sa žiaci môžu pripraviť na hodinu aj v domácom prostredí. Učiteľom sa páčilo grafické spracovanie digitálnej učebnice a použitie interaktívnych prvkov.
