Comparison of drawing of kindergarten school children with special educational needs and intact children

Abstract:

Přítomnost prekonceptů je možné identifikovat prostřednictvím vhodných výzkumných metod, jako je například dětská kresba, u dětí navštěvujících předškolní zařízení. Hlavním cílem bakalářské práce bylo stanovit úroveň prekonceptů dětí mateřských škol o trávicí soustavě a taky identifikovat vliv vybraných proměnných na úroveň prekonceptů. Proměnnými byly přítomnost speciálních vzdělávacích potřeb, věk a gender. Počet dětí mateřských škol byl 100. Výzkumnou metodou byla dětská kresba. Dětem byl předložen obrys lidského těla, do kterého zakreslovaly orgány trávicí soustavy. Při každé kresbě asistovala buď autorka závěrečné práce nebo učitelka. Získaná data byla analyzována prostřednictvím procentuálního zpracování a metod induktivní statistiky. Mezi chlapci a dívkami nebyl zjištěn významný rozdíl. Přítomnost SVP a věk respondentů se v některých aspektech projevili jako významný faktor. V závěru jsou navrhnuty implementace do pedagogické praxe a návrhy pro další výzkum.

Abstract:

The presence of preconceptions could be identified through appropriate research methods, such as children's drawing, in children attending preschool institutions. The main aim of the bachelor thesis was to determine the level of preconceptions of kindergarten children about the digestive system and also to identify the influence of selected variables on the level of preconceptions. The variables were the presence of special educational needs, age and gender. The number of kindergarten children was 100. The research method was children's drawing, the children were presented with an outline of the human body, in which they drew the organs of the digestive system. Either the author of the bachelor thesis or the teacher assisted with each drawing. The obtained data were analyzed through percentage processing and inductive statistical methods. The non-significant difference was found between boys and girls. The presence of special educational needs and the age of the respondents appeared to be a significant factor in some aspects. In the conclusion, implementation into pedagogical practice and suggestions for further research are presented.
