Variations of the terrain morphology-dependent tree increment patterns

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá variací přírůstových vzorců stromů v závislosti na morfologii terénu v lokalitě Zoo Ostrava na Stezce stínů. V rámci výzkumu byly zkoumány letokruhy, ze kterých lze vyčíst parametry jako jsou stáří, nebo roční přírůstek stromu. Metoda výzkumu zahrnovala terénní odběr vzorků jádra stromu. Následné zpracování materiálu v laboratoři je mechanické a po něm následuje dendrochronologická analýza letokruhů, kdy se měří tloušťka letokruhů. Měření tloušťky letokruhů se provádí pomocí Dendrochronologického TimeTablu. Ze získaných hodnot se pomocí programu Cofecha spočítána sensitivita. Pomocí vzorce se spočítá excentricita. Výsledná data se pak statisticky zpracují. Výsledky ukazují, že morfologie terénu má vliv na průměrný přírůstek, stáří a sensitivitu stromů, naopak tvar reliéfu nemá vliv na sklon stromů, excentricitu a obvod kmene stromů.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with variations of the terrain morphology-dependent tree increment patterns of the landscape in Zoo Ostrava more precisly on "Path of shadow". The study focus on tree rings which they can tell us about age of the tree or anual tree growth. Methods of the research contains field work, which means collecting tree core. In addition to that the sampels are mechanicly prepared for dendrochronological analysis of tree rings, where we mesuare width of each anual growth. Measurement of the tree growthis made by Dendrochronologic TimeTable. With the help of program Cofecha we get to know sensitivity value. For the date of excentricity ve calculate its value. In the end the final data is statistickly processed. Final results shows that morphology has influence on anual tree growth, age and sensitivity, on the other hand shape of the landscape doesn't influence slope of the tree, excentricity and circuit of the tree.
