Bakalářská práce se zabývá hlavními činnostmi personálního oddělení ve veřejné správě. První kapitol definuje pojem veřejná správa a popisuje její dělení na státní správu a samosprávu. Druhá kapitola je věnována pojmům management a personální management. Třetí kapitola se zabývá personálním oddělením jako takovým, popisuje, proč je pro organizaci tak důležité.
