Implementation of priorities of the Usti nad Labem city in the strategic document by 2015

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá realizací priorit Statutárního města Ústí nad Labem dle Strategie rozvoje města Ústí nad Labem do roku 2015. V teoretické části práce jsou uvedena východiska regionální politiky, strategického plánování a řízení a metodik uplatňování a realizace rozvojových dokumentů. Následuje charakteristika města Ústí nad Labem s důrazem na jeho specifika a rozvojové podmínky. V praktické části je popsána struktura Strategie rozvoje města Ústí nad Labem, stěžejní částí práce je vyhodnocení realizace priorit pomocí stanovených indikátorů a dotazníkového šetření mezi občany města a s odkazem na konkrétní projekty v prioritních oblastech. Dle vyhodnocení město Ústí nad Labem nenaplnilo zcela stanovené priority. Závěrem jsou shrnuta zjištění a uvedena doporučení pro kvalitnější naplňování priorit v dalších strategických dokumentech města.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the realization of the priorities of the Statutory City of Usti nad Labem, according to the development strategy of the city of Usti nad Labem in 2015. In the theoretical part, the bases regional policy, strategic planning and application and implementation management methodologies of development documents are given. An overview of the city of Usti nad Labem, with emphasis on its specifics and development conditions. The practical part describes the structure of the development strategy of the city of Usti nad Labem, a crucial part of the work is to evaluate the implementation of the priorities set by using indicators and survey among the citizens of the city and with reference to specific projects in priority areas. According to the evaluation of the city of Usti nad Labem materialize fully set priorities. Finally, recommendations for improved implementation of other strategic documents of the City of Usti nad Labem are summarized.
