The Relocation of the Czech Emigrants from Former German Silesia to Czechoslovakia after the Second World War

Abstract:

Práce je věnovaná skupině Českých bratří (nekatolíci), kteří pro svou víru museli v první polovině 18. století opustit rodnou vlast a odejít do německého Slezska. Zde jim byla umožněna náboženská svoboda a možnost založení nových vlastních osad. Po dobu dvou století zde žili a po druhé světové válce museli být opět pro nežádoucnost odsunuti. Nová československá vláda jim nabídla doosídlit vyprázdněné pohraničí po odsunu sudetských němců a již koncem roku 1945 se uskutečnil transfer této české menšiny. Celou akci řídili vybraní vládní úředníci. Tito lidé se v pohraničí zabydleli, přijali československé státní občanství a někteří z nich zde žijí doposud.

Abstract:

The work is dedicated to a group of Czech brethren (the non-Catholics), who for their faith they had in the first half of the 18th century. century to leave the native homeland and go to German Silesia. Here they were allowed freedom of religion and the possibility of creation of new own settlements. For a period of two centuries and lived here after World War II had to be once again for nežádoucnost relegated. The new Czechoslovak Government offered doosídlit emptied the border following the redeployment of Sudeten Germans at the end of 1945 and was transferred to the Czech group. The action followed the Government officials. In the borderlands is all settled in and some of them remained there until now.
