Bakalářská práce je věnována matkám samoživitelkám žijícím v české společnosti. Zabývá se osamělými matkami, které dobrovolně, nebo nedobrovolně vychovávají dítě bez životního partnera. Obsahem teoretické části je charakteristika rodinného prostředí s důrazem na neúplnou rodinu, specifika výchovy osamělých matek a příčiny samoživitelství. The bachelor thesis is focused on the single mothers living in the Czech Republic. It looks into the issue of mothers as the single parents, who, either voluntarily or involuntarily, raise their children without the help of the partner.
