Následující text se podrobně zabývá problematikou mediální agendy Evropské unie. Shrnuje její vznik a vývoj a přes analýzu současného stavu se pokouší odhalit trendy rozvoje mediálního práva a příbuzných oblastí, jako jsou regulace mediálního trhu či podpory a dotace jednotlivých institucí EU v odvětví médií a komunikace.
