Responsibility of discussants in the internet environment

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na odpovědnost diskutujících osob v prostředí internetu. Teoretická část bakalářské práce vymezuje základní odbornou terminologii související s tématem. V tomto směru jsou v teoretické části bakalářské práce prezentovány nejrozšířenější a uživateli nejvíce oblíbené sociální sítě v kyberprostoru. Dále vliv sociálních a komunikačních sítí na uživatele a na šíření nenávisti a právní odpovědnost za takovéto jednání. V neposlední řadě jsou vymezeny nejčastější trestné činy, kterých se komentující osoba může svým počínáním na internetu dopustit. V kontextu s touto novodobou problematikou jsou představeny postupy orgánů činných v trestním řízení při odhalování a stíhání tohoto typu trestné činnosti. Další úsek v teoretické části je věnován cenzuře internetového obsahu v souvislosti s komentováním obsahu ze strany uživatele internetu vs. svoboda slova. Na teoretickou část bakalářské práce navazuje praktická část, která představuje vlastní průzkum. Průzkum prezentuje a dále analyzuje odpovědi více než 300 respondentů na předem pečlivě zvážené dotazy. Jsou stanoveny předpokládané hypotézy, které výzkum potvrzují nebo vyvrací. Pro lepší orientaci je průzkum podpořen grafy.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis is focused on the responsibility of discussants in the internet environment. The theoretical part of this thesis defines the basic technical terminology related to this topic. Regarding this, the theoretical part presents the most widespread and most popular social networks in cyberspace. Furthermore, this part presents the impact of social and communication networks on the user, spreading of hatred and the legal responsibility of such behavior. Subsequently, it defines the most typical crimes a person commenting on the internet can commit. In the context of this modern issue, the procedures of law enforcement agencies in detecting and prosecuting this type of crime are presented. The next section in the theoretical part is devoted to the censorship of internet content in connection with the commenting of content by internet users versus freedom of speech. The theoretical part of the bachelor's thesis is followed by a practical part which presents the survey. The survey presents and further analyzes the answers of more than 300 respondents to in advance carefully considered questions. Assumed hypotheses are established and confirmed or refuted by the survey. The survey is supported by graphs for better orientation.
