Professional Development of Employees in the Silesian Diakonia

Abstract:

Tématem diplomové práce je profesní rozvoj zaměstnanců ve Slezské diakonii, která je poskytovatelem sociálních služeb. Cílem této diplomové práce je zdůraznit důležitost péče o zaměstnance, zejména s ohledem na jejich profesní rozvoj, popsat profesní rozvoj zaměstnanců ve Slezské diakonii a na základě výzkumu zformulovat návrhy, jak rozvoj zefektivnit a zlepšit. Diplomovou práci tvoří dvě části. Teoretická část se zabývá profesním rozvojem zaměstnanců obecně, ve Slezské diakonii jako nestátní neziskové organizaci a ve státní správě (Probační a mediační služba ČR), a jeho srovnáním. Praktickou část tvoří kvantitativní výzkum mezi zaměstnanci Slezské diakonie, který je zaměřený na to, jak zaměstnanci vnímají profesní rozvoj v organizaci, ve které pracují. Na základě výsledků výzkumu jsou v práci nastíněny návrhy, jak rozvoj zaměstnanců zefektivnit a zlepšit.

Abstract:

The topic of the thesis is a professional development of employees in the Silesian Diakonia, which is a provider of social services. This thesis´s goal is to emphasize the importance of the care for employees, especially considering their professional development; to describe the professional development of employees in the Silesian Diakonia and based on the research to formulate the suggestions for making the development more effective and improved. The thesis is created by two parts. The theoretical part is dealing with the professional development of employees in general, in the Silesian Diakonia as in the non-governmental non-profit organization and in the civil service (Probation and Mediation Service of the Czech Republic), and by its comparison. The practical part is consisted of the quantitative research among the Silesian Diakonia employees, which is focused on the fact, how the employees perceive the professional development in the organization, for which they work. Based on the research results, the suggestions for how to improve and make the development of employees more effective are defined in the thesis.
