The thesis is an analysis of issues of spatiality in three Woolfs novels: Jacobs Room (JR), Mrs Dalloway (MD) and To the Lighthouse (TL). The issues of spatiality which I put to question are: spatial form of the novel and its consequential redefinition of the concept of the novel (in JR), the spatial determination of sense of self (MD) and the hypostatized symbol (in TL).
