Profession of andragogue and his employment on labour market

Abstract:

ABSTRACT The diploma thesis deals with the profession of andragogue and its application in the labor market, while in connection with the application I also focused on the study of andragogy, itself, as it related to the subsequent application in the labor market. The diploma thesis has a theoretical and empirical character. In the theoretical part, I focus on defining the basic concepts that are related to the field of andragogy and the profession of andragogue. I therefore focus on clarifying the concept of andragogy, as a scientific field, a field of study and as a field of practice, and I am gradually moving on to the very definition of adult education. I also deal with the aspect of self-development, which is currently important in adult education and also in the work of andragoques. I included the aim and target groups in the definition of basic terms, because it is important to mention what is the aim of andragogy work and which groups andragogues focus on in their profession. The next chapter of my work is devoted to the possibilities of studying andragogy in Slovakia and in the Czech Republic and the differences in the focus of the field of andragogy in Slovakia and the Czech Republic. The penultimate chapter deals with the professionalization of andragogy work and role education as an adult educator and the competencies he should have. The last part of the theory follows the research part and deals with the application of andragogues. In the empirical part I deal with the application of graduates of the field of andragogy, where graduates apply, how they perceive the application itself and I also focused on the study and the impact of study on the application. The research consisted of 10 respondents from Slovak and Czech universities.

ABSTRAKT Vypracovaná diplomová práca sa zaoberá profesiou andragóga a jeho uplatnením na trhu práce, pričom som sa zamerala aj na samotné štúdium andragogiky, nakoľko súvisí s následným uplatnením na trhu práce. Diplomová práca má teoretický a empirický charakter. V teoretickej časti sa zameriavam na vymedzenie základných pojmov, ktoré s odborom andragogika a profesiou andragóga súvisia. Zameriavam sa teda na objasnenie pojmu andragogika, ako vedný odbor, študijný odbor a ako pole praxe a postupne prechádzam k samotnému vymedzeniu vzdelávania dospelých. Ďalej sa venujem aspektu sebarozvoja, ktorý je aktuálne vo vzdelávaní dospelých dôležitý a takisto aj v práci andragógov. Cieľ a cieľové skupiny som zahrnula do vymedzenia základných pojmov, pretože je dôležité spomenúť, čo je cieľom andragogickej práce a na aké skupiny sa andragógovia vo svojej profesií zameriavajú. Ďalšia kapitola mojej práce je venovaná možnostiam štúdia andragogiky na Slovensku a v Českej republike a rozdielom v zameraní odboru andragogika na Slovensku a v Českej republike. Predposledná kapitola sa venuje profesionalizácií andragogickej práce a roly andragóga ako vzdelávateľa dospelých a kompetenciám, ktorými by mal disponovať. Posledná časť teórie nadväzuje na výskumnú časť a venuje sa uplatneniu andragógov. V empirickej časti sa venujem uplatneniu absolventov odboru andragogika, a to kde sa absolventi uplatňujú, ako vnímajú samotné uplatnenie a zamerala som sa aj na štúdium a vplyv štúdia na uplatnenie. Výskum tvorilo 10 respondetov, zo slovenských a českých univerzít.
