Dysarthria of person in the acute phase of stroke

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se věnuje problematice cévní mozkové příhody a dysartrie. Jejím cílem je analýza situace klientů po cévní mozkové příhodě se zřetelem na komunikační schopnost. Teoretická část vychází z poznatků K. Neubauera (2007), V. Lechty (2005), R., Love, W. G. Webb (2009) a J. Klenkové (2009) a dalších autorů, kteří ve svých publikacích dotýkají tématu dysartrie. Z publikací, týkajících se tématu cévní mozková příhoda, byly informace čerpány od R. Šlapala (2007), I. Tyrlíkové (2008) a M. Kaliny (2008). Realizovaný kvalitativní výzkum s kvantitativními prvky hledá odpovědi na otázky, co pociťují klienti v akutní fázi cévní mozkové příhody a kteří jsou postihnuti narušenou komunikační schopností, získanou dysartrií. Dílčími cíly je tedy analyzovat obtíže vázané na hybnost, určit symptomy v řeči a hybnosti, zjistit organizovanost logopedické intervence, ale také jiných podpůrných terapií, v neposlední řadě je práce zaměřena na sociální prostředí klienta. Výzkum proběhl formou dotazníkové šetření. Výsledky tohoto šetření byly tabulárně a graficky zpracovány, v následující diskusi dopodrobna rozpracovány jednotlivé otázky. Dochází ke srovnání klientů dle pohlaví a také dle předem daných věkových kategorií.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the issue of stroke and dysarthria. Its aim is to analyze the situation of clients after stroke with regards to communication ability. The theoretical part is based on the knowledge of K. Neubauer (2007), V. Lechta (2005), R., Love, W.G. Webb (2009) and J. Klenková (2009) and other authors who deal with the topic of dysarthria in their publications. Information on the topic of stroke was drawn from R. Šlapal (2007), I. Tyrlíková (2008), and M. Kalina (2008). The conducted qualitative research with quantitative elements looks for answers to questions that clients in the acute phase of stroke, clients with impaired communication skills and acquired dysarthria experience. A partial objective therefore is to analyze the difficulties linked to ability to move, to identify symptoms in speech and ability to move, to determine organization of speech therapy but also other supportive therapies, finally the work is focused on social environment of the client. The research was conducted through a survey. The results of this investigation were processed in tabular and graphic design, particular questions were dealt with in detail in the following discussion. Clients are compared by gender and also according to predetermined age groups.
