Social responsibility of the selected company with an emphasis on human resources in the tourism industry

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se věnuje aplikaci konceptu společenské odpovědnosti podniku s důrazem na lidské zdroje v oblasti cestovního ruchu, konkrétně v podniku Hotel Zámek Valeč. Cílem výzkumu bylo analyzovat stávající uplatnění CSR principů ve vybraném podniku a navrhnout opatření pro jejich zlepšení. Výzkum byl prováděn prostřednictvím polostrukturovaných rozhovorů se zaměstnanci hotelu. Bylo zjištěno, že i přes vysoké povědomí o problematice CSR a dobré praktiky v oblasti zaměstnaneckých vztahů existují určité nedostatky v oblasti externí komunikace a dalších oblastech. Na základě těchto zjištění byla formulována doporučení pro zlepšení, zaměřená na zvýšení transparentnosti, posílení well-beingu zaměstnanců a zlepšení propagace společensky odpovědných aktivit podniku.

Abstract:

This bachelor's thesis focuses on the application of the concept of corporate social responsibility with an emphasis on human resources in the tourism sector, specifically at the Hotel Zámek Valeč. The aim of the research was to analyze the current implementation of CSR principles in the selected enterprise and to propose measures for their improvement. The research was conducted through semi-structured interviews with hotel employees. It was found that despite high awareness of CSR issues and good practices in employee relations, there are certain shortcomings in external communication and other areas. Based on these findings, recommendations were formulated for improvement, aimed at increasing transparency, enhancing employee well-being, and improving the promotion of the company's socially responsible activities.
