Abstract:

Diplomová práce s názvem Historie účetnictví se zabývá zdokumentováním vývoje účetnictví od počátků jeho vzniku po současnou dobu. V teoretické části se zabývá charakteristikou účetnictví. Vysvětluje význam a funkce účetnictví. Seznamuje s rozdělením současného účetnictví, jeho jednotlivými typy a právní úpravou v České republice. Definuje hlavní znaky účetnictví vedeného dle zákona o účetnictví a klíčová slova jako jsou např.: výnosy, náklady, rozpočet apod. Praktická část popisuje vývoj vzniku účetnictví, jak se vyvíjelo v různých částech světa, a v různých časových období. Hledá co bylo společného a co naopak rozdílného. Seznámí čtenáře s nejjednodušší formou zápisu pomocí zářezů do dřeva, keramiky, používání uzlů, navlékání drobných předmětů. Dále se čtenář přenese do období vzniku písma, které mělo zásadní vliv na další vývoj účetnictví. Práce popisuje jednotlivé typy účetnictví jako např. dopické, kameralistické až po složité zápisy manažerského účetnictví. Zvláštní pozornost práce věnuje vývoji účetnictví v českých zemí. Vývoj je rozdělen do časových období a to od počátku vedení účetnictví do 50. let, dále období 50. až 90. let. Snaží se podrobněji popsat prvorepublikové účetnictví, které názorně vysvětluje na příkladu účetnictví v Baťově koncernu. Cílem práce je, aby si čtenář uvědomil, že seznámení s historií účetnictví je nezbytná nutnost při vytváření nových systémů a vedení účetnictví. Tvůrci se tak mohou vyvarovat chyb, které historie již odhalila a naopak se poučit z jichž vytvořených a fungujících postupů a praxí při vedení účetnictví jako takového. Zároveň se snaží seznámit s účetnictvím i ty, kteří se jím nikdy nezabývali a považovali ho za něco co se jich netýká.

Abstract:

The dissertation named History of Accounting deals with documenting the development of accounting from the very beginning until present days. The theoretical part deals with accounting characteristics. Accounting significance and functions are explained. It introduces the division of the present-day accounting, its individual types and the legal form in the Czech Republic. It defines the main features of accounting kept according to the Accounting Act, and key words, such as revenues, costs, budget, etc. The practical part describes the development concerning the beginning of accounting, as it developed in different parts of the world, in different time periods. It searches for common features, as well as for the differences. The readers are introduced to the most primitive form of recording via cuts in the wood, ceramics, using knots, or stringing tiny objects. Further on, the reader is taken to the period when writing was first introduced, having fundamental influence over the further development of accounting. The paper describes the individual accounting types, such as the dopic, cameralistic accounting, all the way to complex records of managerial accounting. Special attention is paid to the development of accounting in the Czech region. The development is divided into time periods, namely from the beginnings of keeping accounts until the 50s, then the period between the 50s adn the 90s. It strives for a more detailed description of accounting in the era of the First Republic, using the example of accounting kept in the Baťa concern to provide clear demonstration. The aim of the paper is to allow the reader to realize that learning about the history of accounting is necessary when creating new systems and keeping the accounts. The creators can thus avoid mistakes, which had already been revealed, and on the other hand, they can also learn from the already created and functional procedures and practices while keeping the accounts as such. At the same time, it tries to introduce accounting to people who never dealt with it and always considered accounting as something completely out of line.
