Approaches to Education of Pupils with Special Educational Needs - Comparison of Primary and Special Schools

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se věnuje přístupu ke vzdělávání žáků se speciálními vzdělávacími potřebami v komparaci běžné základní školy a speciální školy z pohledu ředitelů, učitelů a asistentů pedagoga. Cílem práce je odhalit názor a postoj k inkluzi a vymezit úskalí spojené se vzděláváním těchto žáků. Teoretická část se věnuje inkluzivnímu vzdělávání a speciálnímu vzdělávání. Empirickou část tvoří výzkum, jehož cílem je popsat pohled pedagogů na inkluzivní vzdělávání. Pro výzkum byl zvolen kvalitativní přístup, který se zaměřuje na hlubší pochopení zkoumaného jevu a sběr komplexních dat. Byla použita metoda polostrukturovaného rozhovoru, která umožňuje výzkumníkovi klást doplňující otázky a reagovat na sdělení respondenta. Výzkumný soubor představuje devět pedagogických pracovníků působících na základní a speciální škole ve Zlínském kraji. Součástí praktické části je analýza získaných dat, její vyhodnocení, následná interpretace a shrnutí.

Abstract:

This bachelor's thesis is devoted to the approach to the education of pupils with special educational needs in the comparison of a regular primary school and a special school from the point of view of principals, teachers and teaching assistants. The aim of the work is to reveal the opinion and attitude towards inclusion and to define the difficulties associated with the education of these pupils. The theoretical part is devoted to inclusive education and special education. The empirical part consists of research, the aim of which is to describe the view of pedagogues on inclusive education. A qualitative approach was chosen for the research, which focuses on a deeper understanding of the investigated phenomenon and the collection of complex data. A semi-structured interview method was used, which allows the researcher to ask additional questions and respond to the respondent's message. The research group consists of nine teaching staff working at a primary and special school in the Zlín Region. Part of the practical part is the analysis of the obtained data, their evaluation, subsequent interpretation and summary.
