Use of evaluation and measuring techniques in nursing practice - evaluation of self-suficiency

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na využívání hodnotících a měřících technik v ošetřovatelské praxi se zaměřením na hodnocení soběstačnosti jedinců. Práce porovnává sestry ve dvou nemocnicích Krajská nemocnice Liberec a.s. a Krajská zdravotní a.s. Masarykova nemocnice. Hlavním cílem práce je zjistit, jaké mají sestry v obou nemocnicích informace o metodách k hodnocení. V první polovině teoretické části popisuji důležitost potřeby pohybu pro lidský organismus, základní poruchy pohyblivosti, které negativně ovlivňují kvalitu života jedince a poruchy pohyblivosti u seniorů, protože se u této populace vyskytují nejčastěji. Charakterizuji pojmy soběstačnost a sebepéče. Druhá polovina teoretické části je zaměřena na historii vzniku hodnotících metod k hodnocení soběstačnosti pacientů. Dále popisuji jednotlivé metody, které se k hodnocení stupně soběstačnosti pacientů používají v praxi. V praktické části vyhodnocuji stanovené dílčí cíle a potvrzuji pravdivost hypotéz na základě odpovědí na dotazník vlastní konstrukce. Dotazník je zcela anonymní a zjišťuje, kdy se metody k hodnocení soběstačnosti pacientů nejvíce využívají. Dále jaké hodnotící škály se k posouzení stupně soběstačnosti pacientů v daných nemocnicích používají a zda mají sestry možnost výběru metody k hodnocení.

Abstract:

Bachelor´s work is focused on the use of evaluation and measurement techniques in nursing practice, focused on the rating self-sufficiency of people. This work compares two hospitals - Krajska nemocnice Liberec a.s. and Krajska zdravotni a.s. Masarykova nemocnice. The main objectiv of this work is to determine, chat nurses have informatik about evaluating and measuring techniques to determine patient´s degree of self-sufficiency. I describe the importance of movement for human organism in the first half of theoretical part. I describe the basic movement disorders what have negative influence for quality of life of individual preson and movement disorders in the population of seniors, these disorders occur life of of this group the most. I also characterize terms: self-sufficiency and self-care. The second half of theoretical part is focuse on a history of evaluating methods to determine self-sufficiency of patients. I describe methods thare are used to determine the degree of self-sufficiency of patients in practice as next. I evaluate my main goal and I comfirm truthfulness of hypothesis based on questionnaires prepared by me in the practical part. Questionnaires are completely anonymous and its purpose is to find out when are the methods to determine self-sufficiency of patients used the most and what methods are used to determine the level of self-sufficiency in depicted hospitals. And for final if there is possibility to choose methods how to determine patient´s self-sufficiency by nurses working in these, described in my work two places.
