Obsahem práce je představení metody simulace a simulačního software Witness jako nástroje pro podporu manažerského rozhodování v konkrétně mnou zvoleném podniku PAPÍRNY BRNO, a. s. V práci je vytvořen model reálného podnikového procesu v programu a jeho následná optimalizace, k tomuto účelu byl použit modul Optimizer.
